Stay active and strong during pregnancy or rebuild your fitness postpartum in my small group classes. These sessions focus on safe, effective exercises tailored to your stage of pregnancy or postnatal recovery.

Pre/Postnatal Small Group Training

Classes are held at two convenient locations:

Halftime Training, Kimmage: Tuesdays & Thursdays at 10am and 11am

Breathing Space, Cork Street: Wednesdays at 10:30am

While I’m on maternity leave, my colleagues, Catherine Harris and Eoin Fehily—both trained in pre/postnatal exercise—are leading these sessions.

  • 100% - these are baby friendly classes. You are welcome to bring your baby or come on your own.

    In each location there is a play mat, bolsters and a play pen - so your child can join from any age up to 1 year.

    Feel free to bring your own bouncer or leave babies in the buggy if they are napping or content.

  • Yes, the Kimmage Gym location is on the ground floor with no steps and have space for buggies.

    Please enter around the back of the gym, past the car showroom.

    There is free parking to the front of the gym on and outside the park on Sundrive Road.

  • Babies are welcome to join from 6-8weeks onwards, I just ask that you and baby have been checked by your healthcare provider and you have sign off to return to exercise.

    Babies are welcome up to 1 year - there is a play pen that can house older children.

    However it is ESSENTIAL that once your baby is crawling you look after your child and ensure the baby is not disturbing the other babies, the rest of the class or roaming free due to health and safety.

  • My classes can be joined from 6-8 weeks onwards ( women with c-sections may need to start later).

    Before you join, I ask that you review the Postnatal Checklist to make sure you are ready to return:

    • Have you had GP/Healthcare clearance (required)?

    • Are you scars healed fully (required)?

    • Have you been seen by a Women’s Health Physio (optional but recommended)

    • Do you feel ready to return?

    All exercises are scaled to meet you where you are - bodyweight, banded/light weights, dumbbell/kettlebells and barbells.

  • 100% - Before you join a class, please fill in the pre-screening form to ensure that the coach has the most accurate information about you, your training age, your pelvic floor health and your birth experience.

    All exercises are scaled to offer the following levels and starting points:

    Beginner/Early Postpartum:

    • Bodyweight/banded

    • Low Impact

    • Low Intensity

    • Core Regressions

    Intermediate/Late Postpartum:

    • Dumbbell and kettlebell

    • Moderate Impact

    • Moderate Intensity

    • Building Core Capability

    Advanced/Late Postpartum:

    • Barbell & Heavier Dumbbell/Kettlebell

    • Higher Impact

    • Higher Intensity

    • Advanced Core

  • All classes are kept to a small group size of max 6 mums per class

    This is to allow for

    • personalised attention and coaching

    • adequate space for babies and buggies

    • better use of equipment

  • If you can’t make a class, please make sure to cancel out of your class.

    Cancellation window is 4 hours before, so if you can makes sure to cancel early so that you can get your credit back.

    If the 4 hour window has passed, you will not get your credit back - but please make sure to cancel out of class - to allow for those on the waitlist to book in.

    • To change/cancel an upcoming booking:

    • Click on 'Dashboard' - bottom left

    • Click on the three dots beside your booking

    • Either Change Date or Cancel - free cancellation up to 4 hours before class time

    • Go to 'My Memberships' - here you will see your active membership, how many credits are left and when the next renewal date is

    • Cancel current Membership - simply click on the 'cancel membership' button below your active membership. Any future bookings will not be affected, so make sure to use up all class credits before cancelling.

Bonus: All online class participants, including drop-ins and pack holders, will have access to Zoom playbacks for one week after the session.
